HO is always pushing the limits in terms of new and unique. HO has done it again with an exclusive mounting pattern that allows the boot to not use a traditional metal binding plate. Instead, there is a small metal plate directly under the footbed that mounts to the ski. This gives you superior control and a super clean aesthetic look. One bungee lace over the forefoot and one bungee around the ankle keep your feet secure, while still allowing you to release in the case of a crash. If you are just learning to ski or love just going for a long cruise up the river, the freeMAX is a great boot for you. The freeMAX is a great binding if you are looking for something that is really comfortable and really easy to get in and out of. The freeMAX is one of the softest boots in the line which makes it ideal for skiing on the open water and at slower speeds. Have friends that want to use your ski? No worries, the open toe of the freeMAX accepts multiple shoe sizes and the boots are not left and right foot specific so it does not matter if you are left foot forward, or right.
