TIPS FOR RENTING CHAINS
Know your tyre size eg. 215/65/15.
ONE DAY HIRE
Pick up after 12pm the day before hire.
Return by 1pm on the day following hire.

Wax & Servicing
Turn around times on services and repairs can vary throughout the year. Please ask us in advance for confirmation of wait times.
Hot Wax $45
Wax wears from the base due to friction and will leave it with a dry, fuzzy, grey appearance. By applying a fresh coat of wax you will refresh the base and improve glide speed while conditioning it against oxidation. We use Swix U900 Universal wax.
Hot Wax & Edge $75
Sharpens and renews side and base edges to correct rounding, bluntness or damage such as burrs. Dull or damaged edges will no longer grip snow and your skis or board will slip out from under you while making turns. Professional edge grinding ensures uncompromising grip even in icy slope conditions. This saves energy and increases safety. Most ski and board edges are bevelled between 0 and 2 degrees. This can be customised to your preference upon request.
Full Service $100
Includes a base grind, scratches/grooves fixed with P-Tex, stone grind, edge sharpening and hot wax. Your snow skis or snowboard will be base-grind twice using different grits of belt, removing minor damage and making the base flat and true. The side edge and base edge are then sharped and structure is added through via a stone grind. This new structure helps prevent suction and friction between base and snow and allows the base to absorb wax more effectively. A full-service is finished off with a hot wax. [Please remove snowboard bindings before bringing your board in for a full-service].
Extra Damaged bases that require more P-Tex core fills will be quoted in-store.
Snow Ski Binding Mount $100
All snow skis purchased in-store include complimentary binding mounts FREE of charge.
Snow Ski Binding Adjustment $30
Snowskis need to be set to your height, Weight & Ability by certified staff.
