The Raw wraps a dyneema core in a silicon mainline and injects it with float foam, so the rope is sitting on the surface waiting for you instead of sinking out of reach the moment you let go. Behind the boat it is comfortable, low-stretch and predictable — which is all you actually want from a rope once you stop thinking about it.
Key Technical Features
- Dyneema Core with Silicon Coating: Almost no stretch, so the load comes on smoothly and the board goes where you point it instead of springing back at you.
- Float Foam Injection: The rope stays on the surface after a fall. Sounds small, matters every single set.
- 75ft Silicon Coated Premium Mainline: 80ft total with the handle, sectioned at 45' + 10 + 10 + 5 + 5 so you can shorten as you progress.
- T6-6061 Aluminium Bar, 15": No flex and light in the hands — the bar does not twist under load when you edge in hard.
- Ultra Suede Grip with High Density Padding: Grippy wet, kind on the hands, and it does not go slick after a season in the sun.
- Silicon End Caps: Light and durable, and they stop the bar chewing itself up in the boat locker.
