The Melo package goes with direct — 75ft of uncoated Spectra Fusion mainline with effectively no stretch, so the load you put in through the handle is the load the board feels, with nothing springing back at you mid-cut. Paired with Straightline's STAB handle, it is the setup for riders who have started caring what their rope is doing.
