The Freestyle handle answers that with full-wrap webbing — a continuous 50mm webbing loop that lets you brace your forearms into the handle instead of hanging off a bar.

• 4in Full-Wrap Webbing: The wrap is the whole point — it takes load off your fingers and puts it through your forearms, which is what keeps you connected to the boat when a race pass is going long.

• Neoprene Liner: Padding inside the wrap so the webbing doesn't cut in on a long run.

• 22mm Handle Diameter: Deliberately thin. A narrow bar closes your hand further and reduces the grip force needed to hold it — the opposite call to a barefoot handle, and the right one for racing.
