About This Product

2027 Straightline Deluxe Barefoot Front Toe Handle | The Toe Hold, Done Properly

Barefooting on a toe hold is a specific discipline with a specific piece of gear, and the Deluxe Barefoot Front Toe Handle is the top of Straightline's barefoot handle line. It is the same idea as the Standard toe handle — a barefoot bar with a front toe loop so you can get a foot in and let go of the rope — built up with the detailing that separates a training handle from one you'd actually put a season through.

Key Technical Features

  • Integrated Front Toe Hold: A dedicated toe loop off the front of the bar, which is what makes toe-hold barefooting possible at all — there is no substitute and no way to rig one safely from a normal handle.

  • Barefoot Bar Configuration: A wide barefoot bar rather than a slalom handle, so the load spreads across both hands and the toe loop hangs where your foot can reach it.

  • Deluxe Build: The upgraded specification in Straightline's barefoot line, sitting above the Standard toe handle at $109.95.

Why You'll Love It

This is specialist gear for barefooters, and if you're not already footing you don't need it. For anyone learning or practising toe holds, though, a purpose-built toe handle is not optional — it is the piece of equipment the whole discipline hangs off. Buy the Deluxe if you're footing regularly; the Standard toe handle covers occasional use for less.

About Straightline

Straightline has been building watersports ropes and handles since 1993, and in Australia the name is close to shorthand for the category — if there is a ski or wakeboard rope in the boat, there is a fair chance it says Straightline on it. The line covers slalom, wakeboard, wakesurf, kneeboard, barefoot and tube, from a $30 mainline through to tournament packages.

What the brand is actually known for is the unglamorous engineering: grip shapes that suit how hands give out, low-stretch cores that put the boat's pull where you asked for it, and floats and endcaps that still work after three summers. The Australian arm operates out of Echuca, Victoria, alongside sister brand Raptor, and supplies more than fifty specialist dealers nationwide. Shop the Straightline range now at Welcome Boardstore.
