The Barefoot Static Line is the entry point of Straightline's barefoot rope range — a plain mainline, no handle, sold to pair with whichever barefoot bar you're already running. At a third the price of the Spectra Fusion and Thermal lines, it is the sensible first rope and the sensible spare.

Beginner and recreational barefooters. A premium low-stretch line genuinely changes how a pass feels once you are footing consistently and want the boat's pull arriving without lag — but that is a refinement, and it costs three times as much. Straightline has been building watersports ropes and handles since 1993, and in Australia the name is close to shorthand for the category — if there is a ski or wakeboard rope in the boat, there is a fair chance it says Straightline on it. The line covers slalom, wakeboard, wakesurf, kneeboard, barefoot and tube, from a $30 mainline through to tournament packages.
