The 2027 Ronix Utopia is Trent Stuckey's signature park board and the thinnest profile Ronix have ever put in a mould. Trent wanted a conventional construction — a Paulownia wood core, no gimmicks — that tapers through the tip and tail to a 52 flex at the ends around a firm 85 centre, so the board holds drive through the flats and then folds into a press the moment you shift your weight. Ronix rate it Advanced, and that is the honest call.

Key Technical Features

• Tapered Flex — 85 Centre, 52 Tip and Tail: One core, progressively thinner toward the ends. The stiff middle keeps speed and pop underfoot; the thin tips lock into a nose or tail press more easily than anything else Ronix build.
• Relaxed 3-Stage Rocker: Relaxed enough to carry real speed across the water and stay stable on features, with the curve between the boots giving softer landings. 3.1" on the 143 through to 3.5" on the 151.
• Pulled-In Channels: Set further in from the rail than usual. You feel them driving on the water and not at all while you're sliding a feature.
• Tip and Tail Concave: Locks onto pipe features and adds hold on the water on the way in.
• M6 Inserts: More hold at a shallower depth, so Ronix can run a profile this thin without giving up boot lock-down.

Why You'll Love It

Advanced. A stiff 85 centre asks to be ridden hard, and if you're still finding your feet at the cable it will feel like more board than you need. What it rewards is a rider who already hits features and wants to press deeper and hold longer — the Utopia has been synonymous with Ronix park progression for nearly a decade. Ronix list it as a park board, full stop. Who it isn't for: if you want more snap back out of the press, the Kinetik Project has stiffer tips; if you want soft everywhere, the Epic.

Both run an 85 centre. The Utopia tapers to 52 tips on a relaxed 3-stage rocker — the deepest, easiest press in the range. The Kinetik runs 58 tips with Springbox 2 on a lower continuous rocker, so it rebounds quicker and carries more speed. Press-first, the Utopia; snap-first, the Kinetik.

Can I ride the Utopia behind a boat?
Ronix list its riding style as Park and, unlike their boat boards, don't list a fin set with it. If you split your time, the Utopia boot is the crossover piece, not the board.

Which boots go with it?
Ronix package it with the Kinetik Project EXP (walkable liner, 9/10 flex) or the Utopia boot (6/10 flex, Trent's own pick). Both are closed-toe and mount on the board's M6 inserts.
