The 2027 Ronix South Shore Skimmer exists to solve the hardest part of skim riding — the beginning. It's a big, stable skim platform in Ronix's Standard Core construction, a handmade build using a similar foam to their most advanced Flyweight skimmer, rated beginner to intermediate. It ships with adjustable foot straps and a three-fin configuration, which together are the fastest way to get a first 360 to land instead of sliding out from under you.

Key Technical Features

• Foot Straps Included: Adjustable straps hold your feet in place through a rotation, so you learn the spin before you learn to keep your feet under you — and they come off when you're ready.
• Standard Core Construction: Handmade with a similar foam to the Flyweight skimmers, so it's light for the money — which matters when the board is this big.
• Stable 3-Fin Configuration: Two 2.5" and one 3" Blueprint fibreglass fins on the Button system. Ride all three for a confident, tracking feel; drop to the single fin as your technique sharpens.

Do I have to use the straps?
No. They're adjustable and removable — most riders run them while learning to spin, then take them off once they can keep their feet on the pad through a 360.
