The 2027 Ronix One Legacy Core is Ronix's longest-running series, built on a CNC-machined Legacy Core for intermediate-to-advanced boat riders who want the One's vertical take-off without the punishment of landing it. Same iconic 3-stage rockerline, softer suspension underneath. Over two decades ago Ronix sat in a barn with Danny Harf and reimagined a mellower, more forgiving freeride turn; this generation adds glide speed and a bigger sweet spot.

Key Technical Features

• Legacy Core: A new twist on an old classic — the attributes of the Modello core with added dampening. CNC-machined foam that bridges powerful drive, soft landings and comfort when the water turns to chop.
• 3-Stage Rocker: The hangtime heritage. A hard vertical kick off the wake, 2.2" on the 134 to 2.5" on the 146, on the widened One shape that rides easier at slower boat speeds.
• Instant Energy, Rated 7: Reactive enough for the One's explosion, three points below the Blackout so it never fires you off the wake before you're ready.
• Glide Speed: Ronix keep adding glide to this shape — less resistance and strain on your body, a smoother take-off, more left in the tank for the last set.
• Fin Setup: Four 1.0" Ramp and four 0.8" Asym fins included. Asyms give straight-line speed without the locked-in feel when turning.

Intermediate to advanced. If you're already clearing the wake and going for tricks but the One Blackout feels too demanding — too stiff off the top, too harsh when you land a bit off — this is the board you actually want. Same take-off, more comfortable ride, and the right call for chopped-up afternoon water. Who it isn't for: the 3-stage rocker still wants a proper edge, so if you're learning to hold one, start on a Vault or a District; if you want maximum pop and you ride glass, spend the extra on the One Blackout.

One Legacy Core or Supreme?
The One is a 3-stage board that goes straight up. The Supreme runs a hybrid rocker on the lighter Air Core 3 — vertical on edge, fast through the middle. Hangtime, the One; a bit of everything, the Supreme.

Is it too much board for an intermediate?
No — it's the forgiving One. It rewards smooth technique over raw power, and the widened outline planes at slower speeds. You need to be holding an edge and crossing the wake, not inverting.
