The 2027 Ronix One Blackout Technology enters its 21st season as the definitive 3-stage rocker wakeboard — the one every other vertical-pop board gets measured against. This year it inherits Pre-Tension Glass from the RXT programme, and Ronix have widened the outline. The result is more air without the twitchiness that usually comes with it.

Key Technical Features

• Pre-Tension Glass: The fibres are pulled tight before the board enters the mould, pre-loading the laminate. You get a stiffer, more reactive take-off without paying for it on landing — the two things that normally fight each other in a wakeboard.

• Blackout Core: Ronix's most connected core. Feedback comes straight through your feet, so you know exactly what the board is doing at the top of a trick rather than guessing.

• 3-Stage Rocker: The reason this board exists. A hard vertical kick off the wake that sends you up rather than out — maximum hangtime, and the most reactive rockerline leaving the water.

• Instant Energy: Quicker lift generation off the wake. Load the line and it answers straight away.

• Wider Outline: New for this season. A bigger sweet spot, more stability, and it planes noticeably easier at slower boat speeds — which matters more than people admit when the driver isn't perfect.

• Fin Setup: Four 1.0" Ramp and four 0.8" Free Agent fins. Run it locked in for hard edge hold or loosen it off for a surfier feel.

This is an advanced board and we won't pretend otherwise. A 3-stage rocker punishes a lazy edge — it wants to be loaded properly, and if you're not clearing the wake consistently yet it will feel like hard work. Get it right and nothing gets you higher.
