The 2027 Ronix M50 Dark Matter is the hybrid in the range, and the numbers tell the story better than any marketing does: 11.6 L at 4'5", which is skim-board volume, on a 22" wide surf outline with 3.6" of rocker. It surfs like a surfer and spins like a skimmer, and it's built at H.O.M.E. in the USA alongside the Osmo.

Key Technical Features

• Dark Matter Construction: Ronix's top layup, built at H.O.M.E. — Herb O'Brien's Manufacturing Experience — using Innegra and petroleum-free Bio resin. High energy and high durability rather than one at the expense of the other.

• Genuinely Hybrid Numbers: Skim-level volume on a surf-width platform. Low volume is what lets it break free and rotate; the 22" width and rocker are what let it hold a proper surf line. Very few boards do both.

• Cheese Grater Fins: Two 3.5" Cheese Grater fins with 1.8" Nubs, carbon and floating. The Cheese Grater profile is vented to shed water pressure, which lets the tail release on demand instead of gripping through a spin.

• Consistent 3.6" Rocker: The same rocker across both lengths, so the 4'10" rides like the 4'5" with more float rather than like a different board.
