The 2027 Ronix Kinetik Project EXP is Dominik Hernler's park and winch boot, and the EXP designation is the whole point — the heat-mouldable Intuition+ liner is walkable, so you can hike to the next feature without carrying your boots. A closed-toe boot on the Mainframe 2.0 Low Cut chassis in Cordura Ballistic Nylon, rated 9/10 flex and 10/10 responsiveness — advanced, and the stiffest boot Ronix make.
Key Technical Features
- Walkable Heat Moldable Intuition+ Liner: Cooks to your foot like every Intuition+ liner, and unlike a standard liner you can walk in it — the feature you'll use every cable or winch session.
- Mainframe 2.0 Low Cut Technology: Adaptable support as you cinch, with more freedom around the leg than the high-cut boots. The stiffer shell means faster edge-to-edge transitions and support where it's needed on harsh landings.
- Cordura Ballistic Nylon and SuperFabric: Abrasion-resistant outer with armour panels on the wear points, because kickers, rails and rugged terrain chew through normal boot materials.
- SuperStraps: Leverage meets elasticity — low-friction nylon webbing paired with an elastomer strap for effortless tightening on top of the AutoLock lacing.
- 3D Molded Toe, Injected Heel Counter and EXP S.O.L.E.: Holds its shape under load so the boot keeps driving the board, over a rugged, walkable EVA footbed.

The Utopia is 6/10 on a High Cut chassis, built to cross between boat, cable and winch. The Kinetik is stiffer, low cut and walkable — a park boot first. Split time with a boat, the Utopia; live at the cable, the Kinetik.
