The 2027 Ronix Epic is the softest cable board Ronix have ever made, and the construction is the whole reason. There is no top glass. A traditional bottom glass and a first-ever mid glass carry the strength instead, with a laminate over the lot — two structures that flex independently of one another. Ronix call it True Flex, and it feels like nothing else in the park range.

Key Technical Features

• True Flex Construction: Two stacked pieces of wood that move independently of each other, with the strength coming from a bottom glass and a first-ever mid glass rather than a top layer. The two constructions work separately, which is what makes the flex so smooth through its range.

• 50 Tip And Tail, 54 Centre: Among the lowest numbers on Ronix's flex chart, and close together — which means it's soft everywhere rather than soft only at the ends.

• Continuous Rocker: Predictable speed across the flats and a smooth release rather than an abrupt three-stage kick. It suits pressing, buttering and rail lines more than it suits launching off a kicker.

• Softest, But Also One Of The Toughest: Ronix rate it among the most durable boards they've ever made. The mid glass is doing the structural work a top glass normally would, and it doesn't get chewed up by features the way a top layer does.

• Four Lengths, 141 to 153: A full size run, so you can pick length on rider weight rather than taking whatever's left.
