The 2027 Ronix Carbon Air Core 4 Skimmer is the lightest, most reactive skim shape Ronix build. Low volume is the whole idea — less board in the water means less swing weight, and less swing weight is what makes a shuv-it or a 360 come round quickly instead of grinding halfway and stalling. Two different rocker lines and a spread tow carbon layup do the rest.

Key Technical Features

• Carbon Air Core 4 Construction: High-grade spread tow carbon over an air core. Spread tow lays the carbon flatter than a woven weave, so you get stiffness and snap without the weight — this is the lightest skimmer in the range and it feels like it underfoot.

• Speedwalls: Urethane sidewalls instead of a standard rail. Tougher, faster, and they lift the board higher on the water — new to this shape for 2027.

• Twin Rocker Lines: Two distinct rocker profiles across the two lengths rather than one shape scaled up and down, so the 58" isn't just a bigger 53".

• Button Fin System with Floating Carbon Fins: Tool-free fin changes, and a fin that pops loose floats rather than sinking. Ships with 1" and 2.5" Blueprint carbon fins.

• Low-Volume Shape: 8.8 L at 53". That's genuinely little float, which is what buys the quick rotation — and also why it isn't the board to learn on.
