The 2027 Ronix Atlantik Flyweight is the closest thing in the range to riding an actual surfboard — an ocean-inspired quad for intermediate to advanced riders, in Ronix's lightweight Flyweight construction with carbon stringers. Where most wakesurfers are flattened out for speed behind a boat, the Atlantik keeps a genuine ocean rocker line of 3.8" to 4.1" — and for 2027 an updated rail and faster rocker line turn up the glide while keeping the locked-in feel this quad is known for.

Key Technical Features

• Flyweight Construction with Carbon Stringers: Ronix's Lightweight category. The light layup lets the board feel freer, and the carbon stringers add extra kick to an already reactive surfer.
• New Rail Design and Faster Rocker Line: Updated for 2027 to add top-water speed — the rocker still trades some straight-line pace for the ability to pivot hard off the tail.
• Reactive Tip: The nose is shaped to stay loose rather than catch, so you can push the board forward through a turn without pearling.

Atlantik or Sea Captain?
The Sea Captain is a narrow Tuff Tech thruster rated for all levels — heavier, tougher, cheaper and more forgiving. The Atlantik is lighter, has more rocker and a quad, and reacts faster. Learning to carve, the Sea Captain; already carving and wanting a real surfboard feel, the Atlantik.

What size wake does it need?
A high-rocker board wants a wake with some push — a properly weighted boat rather than a stock one. If your wave is on the smaller side, the extra volume of the 4'9" helps, or look at the lower-rocker DNA or North Shore.
