The Lunch Break is the short end of Raptor's 2027 slalom range — 61in and 63in, sitting alongside the Gravity at the same price but built for a completely different rider. Where the Gravity trades on length, the Lunch Break trades on the opposite: less ski in the water, less drag, and a turn that comes around faster once you have the speed to hold it up.

Why You'll Love It

This is the pick for lighter riders — most women, teenagers who have outgrown combos, and anyone under roughly 70kg who is skiing at proper boat speed. Take the 63in as the default, and the 61in if you're lighter again or you like the boat quick.

Be honest with yourself about speed before you buy short. A shorter ski needs the boat to be doing the work of holding you up, and at 28mph on a still river it will feel like hard work rather than a nice afternoon. If your boat runs slow, or you're heavier, the Gravity at the same money is the smarter ski. If you're light and you like it fast, this is the one.
