The 2027 Radar Womens Union takes a proven Vapor shape, adds four-tenths of an inch of width outside the tunnel, and wraps it in a lighter carbon construction. The result rides higher on the surface of the water — nimble, stable and easy to move on from the very first turn. Radar built the Union for skiers coming back to the water, and this is the version built around a lighter rider rather than scaled down from the men's.

Key Technical Features

• Added Width Outside the Tunnel: Four-tenths of an inch more than the Vapor shape it's based on. That's what creates the lift and support at slower speeds, and why the ski feels settled the second you lean away from the boat instead of five metres later.

• Lighter Carbon Construction: The layup is built for a lighter rider, so the ski loads and rebounds at the speeds and weights you actually ski at rather than staying stiff underfoot.

• All-Terrain Core: Polyurethane with integrated paulownia wood stringers. The wood auto-damps — it absorbs rough water instead of transmitting it, which is exactly what you want while you're rebuilding confidence.

• Closed-Chain Construction: Every layer integrated into one connected system from top deck to base, so energy moves tip to tail without a dead spot.

Why You'll Love It

Beginner to intermediate. Speed window is 24–32 mph (40–52 kph), so it works behind a family boat that isn't running tournament speed. This is the ski for getting back on the water after time off, or for moving off a wide beginner ski onto something that carves properly without jumping straight to a course ski that'll punish a slow start. It's still a real slalom ski — it rolls onto edge and holds direction — it just doesn't make you earn it. If you're running buoys, look at the Lyric Alloy or Graphite.
