2027 Radar Womens Session Slalom Ski | Easy Up, Easy on Edge

The 2027 Radar Womens Session is the Open Water Series ski for a lighter rider — Radar's widest slalom shape with an All-Terrain Core in 100% carbon fibre and Grip Rails 2.0, for 20–30 mph (34–49 kph). Smooth starts, stable through the whole ride, and an intuitive feel edge to edge. The point of the Session is that it's easy to get up on without giving up the way a real slalom ski behaves once you're riding.

Key Technical Features

• Grip Rails 2.0: Wide skis create lift and easy starts but get hard to roll onto edge and hold direction through the wakes. Grip Rails channel water flow toward the centre of the ski, so you get proper roll, grip and edge control from a shape that still comes out of the water easily.
• Surface Area: 416 square inches at 65" and 442 at 67" — around 45 square inches more than a Womens Union. That's the buoyancy that gets you out of the hole without a fight.
• All-Terrain Core: Polyurethane with paulownia wood stringers. The wood damps the ski — it absorbs chop instead of transmitting it, which is what makes it comfortable for a long afternoon rather than a couple of runs.
• 100% Carbon Fibre: Light, fast and consistent, with even flex across the whole ski — the reason it doesn't feel like a beginner ski underfoot.
• Closed-Chain Construction and Bio Resin: Every layer bonded into one connected structure from topsheet to base, so energy travels tip to tail without a dead spot.
