2027 Radar Session Slalom Ski | The Ski That Keeps Everyone on the Water

The 2027 Radar Session is the Open Water Series ski — the one that should live on the boat or hang by the dock. Radar's widest slalom ski, with an All-Terrain Core in 100% carbon fibre and Grip Rails 2.0, for 20–30 mph (34–49 kph). Easy out of the water, stable through the whole ride, and unlike every other wide ski it still behaves like a real slalom ski: it rolls onto edge and carves rather than skidding round.

Key Technical Features

• Grip Rails 2.0: Wide skis create lift and support but get hard to roll onto edge and hold direction through the wakes. Grip Rails channel water flow toward the centre of the ski, so you get the roll, grip and edge control of a proper slalom ski with the easy starts of a wide one. This is the whole reason the Session works.
• Surface Area: 416 to 483 square inches depending on length — around 45 square inches more than a Union at each size. That's the buoyancy that gets you out of the hole without a fight.
• All-Terrain Core: Polyurethane with paulownia wood stringers. The wood damps the ski — it absorbs chop rather than transmitting it, which is what makes it comfortable for a long afternoon.
• 100% Carbon Fibre: Light, fast and consistent, with even flex across the whole ski — unusual at this price and the reason it doesn't feel like a beginner ski.
• Closed-Chain Construction and Bio Resin: Every layer bonded into one connected structure from topsheet to base, so energy travels tip to tail without a dead spot.

The Session is wider, floats higher and is the easiest deep-water start Radar make, for 20–30 mph. The Union is narrower, carves harder and runs to 32 mph. Never skied slalom, or you want a ski for everyone on the boat: the Session. Skied before and want to progress: the Union.

What boat speed is the Session for?
20–30 mph (34–49 kph). It's built for slower boats and longer lines — the speeds most people actually ski at on a Sunday.

Does it come with boots?
No — blank ski with the adjustable fin fitted. Add a front boot and either a rear boot or an ARTP.
