The 2027 Radar Carbitex Vector BOA HRT (Alum) answers a specific complaint: rear toe plates let you get in and out easily and bail safely, but they give you almost nothing to push against. This is a high rear toe with a BOA dial and a Carbitex upper, mounted to an aluminium plate rather than the Feather Frame chassis — so it drops onto a standard insert pattern and fits skis that aren't running the Feather Frame system.

• BOA Fit System: Micro-adjustable dial closure — the simplest way to get the same fit every session rather than the drift you get from laces, and adjustable on the water with one hand.

• Carbitex OmniFlex: A flexible carbon fibre textile rather than a rigid panel. It's what allows a rear toe to be reactive instead of just a strap holding your foot down.

• Aluminum Plate: Mounts to a conventional insert pattern, so this fits skis that aren't Feather Frame compatible — and it can be moved between skis. Rigid underfoot, so your input isn't lost in the mount.

• Wrap Tech Level 3: Sits between the Vector's Level 2 and the Carbitex Vector's Level 4 — enough material to transmit your input without locking the ankle the way a full back boot does.

Intermediate to advanced. Take this over the Feather Frame version if your ski isn't Feather Frame compatible, or if you want a rear you can move between skis. It's for the skier who has deliberately chosen a rear toe plate but has been frustrated by how little the back foot can be loaded. It won't match a full back boot for raw drive — it isn't trying to.
