2027 Hyperlite Sender Wakeboard | JB O'Neill's Forgiving Three-Stage

The 2027 Hyperlite Sender is JB O'Neill's signature board, and it solves a specific problem. A three-stage rocker gives you the vertical kick, but it usually brings edges that catch. The Sender bevels the rail between the bindings so the board rolls instead of biting, keeps the rails cupped at tip and tail for a hard edge set, and runs a Soft Landing Spine down the base.

Key Technical Features

• Biolite 3 Core: Hyperlite's PU foam core wrapped in fibreglass. Light enough to spin easily, damp enough to take a flat landing without ringing through your knees.
• 3-Stage Rocker: A flat centre with a kick at each end, at 2.85 inches across every size. It stores the load of your edge and returns it upwards rather than forwards.
• Soft Landing Spine: A raised spine down the base that splits the water on impact. It is the reason a board this poppy does not punish you for coming in flat.
• Forgiving Rail Profile: Beveled Edge between Bindings: The rail underfoot is rounded, so an off-axis landing rolls through instead of catching. This is the single feature that makes the Sender a progression board.

Go by weight: 45-68 kg the 132, 54-79 kg the 136, 64-86 kg the 140, and 77 kg and up the 144. In an overlap, longer lands softer and shorter spins quicker.
