2027 Hyperlite Prizm Wakeboard | The Murray Shape in Satin Flex

The 2027 Hyperlite Prizm is Shaun Murray's shape rebuilt for women. It shares the Murray Pro outline and running surface, then swaps in Hyperlite's Satin Flex so the board loads at pressures a lighter rider can actually put through it. A Subtle 3-Stage Rocker with no flat spot gives it drive underfoot, and the rails sharpen between the inserts before cupping at tip and tail.

Key Technical Features

• Satin Flex: Hyperlite's women's-specific flex tuning. It is the whole reason this exists as a separate model rather than a different graphic on the Murray Pro.
• Subtle 3-Stage Rocker: A three-stage profile with the flat spot taken out. You get the vertical kick of a staged rocker without the dead patch underfoot that usually comes with it.
• Bamboo Pop Top: A bamboo layer in the top laminate. Bamboo stores and returns energy well for its weight, and that is where the extra snap off the edge comes from.
• Variable Edge Design: The rail thickens and sharpens between the inserts for grip, then rounds and cups at the ends so a slightly off landing rolls out instead of catching.

Why You'll Love It

Hyperlite's skill bar runs the Prizm from about 10 per cent of the scale to 90, as wide a window as anything in the boat range. Its speed marker sits high and its pop marker mid-range, despite the printed copy promising a huge boost, so buy it for edge hold and drive rather than raw height. Who it isn't for: if you want the most forgiving landing platform in the women's range, the Journey has the bevelled rail and Soft Landing Spine. If you do not need the softer flex, the Murray Pro is this shape in standard flex across four sizes.

Also made in 140 cm. Our three sources disagree here: the supplier range file lists 134 and 140, the 2027 catalogue prints 135 and 140, and hyperlite.com charts a 134 and a 139. We have gone with the supplier file, which leaves the 140 without a published rider weight, so tell us your weight rather than let us read across from the 139. Board only, four fins included, bindings separate.

The same Shaun Murray shape and the same Subtle 3-Stage Rocker. The Prizm runs Satin Flex in two sizes. The Murray Pro runs standard flex across four sizes to 150 cm. If a standard deck feels stiff and lifeless under you, Satin Flex is what fixes that.

Prizm or Journey?
The Prizm is the Murray shape: drive, edge hold, no flat spot. The Journey is the Sender shape: bevelled rail, Soft Landing Spine, more forgiving when you land wrong. Both are Satin Flex.

Which size should I be on?
Hyperlite charts 50-73 kg for the 134. The 140 sits above it, so as a rough guide take the 140 over about 70 kg or if you want more surface underfoot for landings. Send us your weight and we will confirm before you order.
