2027 Hyperlite Aries Wakeboard | Women's Cable, Flex Factor 5

The 2027 Hyperlite Aries is the women's board in Hyperlite's cable range, shaped by Aaron Stumpf on a Woodlite core of sustainable paulownia and tuned with Satin Flex. It sits at Flex Factor 5, the softest end of Hyperlite's five-point cable scale, in two sizes. Built for riding features, not for the wake behind a boat.

Key Technical Features

• Woodlite Core: One hundred per cent sustainable paulownia. Snappier and more durable than foam through a season of flat landings, and light enough that a lighter rider can still swing it.
• Satin Flex: Hyperlite's women's-specific tuning, layered onto a shape already at the soft end of the cable scale. The board loads and returns at pressures a lighter rider can generate.
• Flat Tip / Tail Base Design with Mid-Body Channels: Flat through the ends for a predictable, low-catch feel on features, with channels through the middle for hold when you carry speed. The bevel runs the whole way around.
• Sintered Base & Urethane Sidewall: A sintered base takes abuse and holds wax; a urethane sidewall absorbs the side-on hits that kill a park board.
• Flex Factor 5: On Hyperlite's 1 to 5 cable scale, 1 is a standard flex and 4 and 5 are the softest, most pressable shapes. The Aries sits at the top with the Pleasure and Impulse.

The Aries has no page in Hyperlite's 2027 dealer catalogue, appearing only in the cable Flex Factor table, so the figures above come from our supplier range file and hyperlite.com. Mind the gap between the two published ranges: riders between about 64 and 68 kg fall between sizes, so talk to us. No fin spec is published either, and the rest of the range ships finless.

Aries or Pleasure?
Both are Woodlite paulownia boards at Flex Factor 5, so the flex ceiling is the same. The Aries adds Satin Flex and runs two sizes. The Pleasure runs five sizes from 138 to 156 without the women's tuning. Under about 64 kg, the Aries.

Aries or Journey?
Cable against boat. The Aries is finless with a park rockerline and a soft flex for pressing. The Journey has four fins, a three-stage rocker and a Soft Landing Spine for behind the boat. They do not swap.

Which size, and what about bindings?
45-64 kg is the 142 and 68 kg and up is the 146. Between the two, come and talk to us. Bindings are separate, on M6 inserts that take any major brand's boot.
