Exceptionally springy and superbly cushioned. The Ultra utilizes Union’s latest production capabilities to redefine how freestyle bindings should ride. Incredibly lightweight. Built with layered technology, where each layer serves a unique function, similar to running shoes. The asymmetrical, ultra-light Stage 11 ASYM Duraflex ST baseplate was designed to increase torsional flex and minimize weight.

• BASEPLATE: Stage 11 ASYM Duraflex ST – new lightweight asymmetrical baseplate. By removing material around the toe and heel, torsional flex is increased and edge pressure is faster. Excellent board feel. Added toe traction pattern for improved boot hold.
• CUSHIONING: Molecular Bushing w/ TPE Outsole – ultra-light foam offering enhanced cushioning and vibration dampening, resulting in less foot fatigue. Cold-resistant.
• HIGHBACK: S15 Ultra Duraflex ST – 6-degree pre-rotated highback for instant boot contact and great responsiveness. Molecular foam insert adds flex.
• ANKLE STRAPS: NEW! Hybrid 1.0 Ankle Strap – Immediate response meets all-day foot comfort. The Hybrid 1.0 ankle strap combines a responsive Exoframe exterior with soft and flexible Forma inner padding. The new V-shaped cutout design allows for a tight fit without pressure points. Lightweight, durable, and incredibly comfortable, the Hybrid 1.0 quickly became a favorite among new Union riders.
• TOE STRAPS: TS 5.0 Ultragrip – new toe straps, simple, lightweight, and durable. Compatible with all snowboard boots on the market.
