HEAD started with Howard Head’s metal ski in 1950 and grew into one of the big Alpine houses — skis, boots, and the Tyrolia binding family under the same roof. The Kore lightweight constructions and the Joy women’s line are what a lot of Australian all-mountain skiers actually end up on.
