Rusty is a global surf brand, born in San Diego, the brainchild of master surfboard shaper Rusty Preisendorfer. Since the late ‘80s, we’ve been crafting more than just boards. We’ve been shaping culture. What started with hand-shaped surfboards and a few salty tees has grown into a full-blown lifestyle brand, worn from Bali to Bondi, Venice Beach to Val d’Isère.
Now headquartered in Western Australia, Rusty is run by a bunch of millennials and Gen Z humans who live and breathe the brand. We’re still rooted in surf, that’s our DNA, but the Rusty of today doesn’t stop at the shoreline.
We’re building something that moves between surf, skate, snow and street, without losing what made us who we are. Think vintage silhouettes with modern cuts. Bold graphics and core function. Heavyweight fleece you’ll wear until it’s falling apart (it won't). And jorts that look like they time-travelled from 2001 (because they kinda did).
