Volcom ZIP TECH: Stay Snow-Proof on the Slopes

Hey guys, Chris from Welcome Board Store here. Today, we're going to take a look at some of the features Volcom has to offer. This jacket here is a Gore-Tex jacket, and it comes with a feature called ZIP TECH. The benefit of ZIP TECH is that it's located underneath the jacket's skirt. There's a zip that allows you to connect the jacket to any pair of Volcom pants you own. For example, these pants also come with ZIP TECH. You can zip the pants and jacket together to create a fully sealed one-piece suit. This feature is especially useful in powder conditions because it prevents snow from getting in. Being able to seal yourself up with a jacket and pants combination is a game-changer.
This is probably my favorite feature of Volcom's gear. Even the lower-end options, such as the 20K or 10K anorak jackets, include ZIP TECH. So regardless of the price point, from entry-level to high-end, all Volcom pants and jackets come with this feature. It's an awesome addition.
