Candide Skis BBC 111 Snow Skis
THE MOST VERSATILE OF THE BUNCH
Of the three CANDIDE offerings, the mid-fat CANDIDE BC 111 Skis get our nod for most versatile of the bunch (assuming you ski somewhere with frequent snowfall). With a relatively long triple radius sidecut and a very slightly cambered nearly symmetrical shape, the BC 111 is meant to charge but ready for quick directional changes when the need arrives. As with the other CANDIDE skis, the 111 wraps a mix of carbon fiber and fiberglass around a Poplar and Paulownia wood core and features ample tip and tail rocker for the skier who never knows which direction will work best. Time to brush up on the catlike reflexes and insane body awareness while airborne, your ski is waiting.

- __________
- FSC-CERTIFIED WOOD CORES - The Forest Stewardship Council A. C. is an international non-profit, multistakeholder organization established in 1993 that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests, via timber certification. All our wood core is FSC certified.
- __________
- BIO-BASED EPOXY - Our factory has been pioneering the use of bio-based epoxy for many years. This replaces the petro-chemical with renewable materials such as vegetable oils. This process retains all the strength of a traditional epoxy resin.

About YES Snowboards
It all began back in 2008 when Romain de Marchi (RDM) was widely regarded as the most explosive snowboarder on the planet, having successfully mastered Chad's gap and introducing big freestyle tricks into the backcountry. Jan Petter Solberg (JPS) was also pushing the boundaries of freestyle in the backcountry, while David Carrier Porcheron (DCP) was busy exploring and discovering new hits and lines across the British Columbia backcountry. These three influential figures were revolutionizing the world of snowboarding, inspiring generations of riders to come. However, their reign at the top was cut short when the 2008 global financial crisis hit, leading to the dissolution of the UnInc program they had built, and subsequently losing their board sponsor. At the time, Obama was running for president with the famous slogan"YES WE CAN", and this message resonated with the trio as they proposed the idea of building a new snowboard brand. Despite facing discouragement and skepticism from others, they were determined to make it happen. They approached the Nidecker brothers and eventually produced their first boards, which were hand-painted with the phrase"YES WE CAN."ThusYes.Snowboards were created.
