The 2025 Abstract Salomon is designed to be one of the most versatile boards on the market. A combination of the award winning Gypsy and Villain, this unisex board boasts the perfect mid flexing profile with Salomon's most popular Rock Out Camber for stability and power underfoot. Even though it is primarily designed as a park / freestyle board, the Quadralizer sidecut lets this board grip on groomers so you can lay some serious turns down and precise carves outside the park. Remove all limitations on style and expression with the Abstract and enjoy versatility in the park, the streets, or anywhere you may ride.

Rocker Type

  • Rock Out Camber – Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response, and rocker on the tip/tail for pressability.

Flex

  • Flex Rating – 3 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff)

  • True Twin – Freestyle specific: Identical tip/tail lengths, symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered binding stance.
  • Quadralizer Sidecut – Explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic sidecuts allows high speed carving as well as superior edge control in tight spots.

Core

  • Popster – Popster's shaped core profile thins out under foot and thickens outside your bindings before tapering again at tip and tail to maximize the natural snap and pop of wood. Feels like your skateboard kicktail finally connected with your snowboard.
  • Aspen Select Core – Every single FSC certified wood strip is hand selected to ensure unparalleled core quality and lightness.

Laminates

  • Biaxial Medium Density Fiberglass – Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.
  • Ghost Carbon Beams in Tip and Tail

Sidewalls

  • Royal Rubber – These soft rubber blocks, inserted into Salomon’s ABS Sidewalls in the high pressure zones, smooth out the edge contact like no other construction, whatever the conditions.

Base

  • Sintered Base – Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
  • Medium Stone Finish – A medium structure finish that improves base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.

Edges

  • Freestyle Edge Bevel – From detuning the tip and tail to a 2-degree edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut, back to a 3-degree bevel between the feet. This delivers the complete blend of edge hold and forgiveness on rails.
