Ultimate Snow Setup: Gore-Tex & Merino Wool for Any Weather

Hey guys, today I'm going to talk about my favorite setup for the snow. And that is a Gore-Tex jacket like this—a nice thin shell. These jackets are ultra windproof and waterproof, making them perfect for cold weather, even as low as -20°C. The key to staying warm with these shells is layering with the right materials underneath.

I recommend starting with Merino Wool, specifically Sherpa Merino Wool or full Australian Merino Wool. It’s the best in the business for keeping you warm and wicking away moisture. If it’s really cold, like -20°C in Canada, add a nice fleece layer on top of the Merino Wool. This combination will keep you toasty while keeping moisture off your skin.
