Get Your Snow Gear Slope-Ready: Expert Ski and Snowboard Tuning Services at Our Workshop
Share
Hey guys, Chris from Welcome Board Store.
Today I'm going to talk to you about our Workshop Services we do here for all your snow skis and snowboard needs. This is our Workshop, and we run Wintersteiger Machinery. We've got the edger there, and then we've got Wax Bay—everything we need.
Basically, what will happen is you bring your board in, check it in, ideally with bindings off; otherwise, we'll take the bindings off for you. If it's a full service, all those little scratches here—we'll fill them in, run it through the machine, do the edges, and give it a wax. Your board will come up like brand new! Same deal with the skis.
We also do binding mounts. If you need a remount or a new set of bindings put onto a ski and mounted, we've got all the jigs up there we use. We've got Solomon—you name it! Every brand has a different jig for their bind mounts.
Yeah, this is where it all goes down—all the business. This is where we tune the stuff up!
We've got a few different belts that we use. They'll do a light clean-up of the base before fixing up the bigger parts. You can see this one—just did a light run-through, cleaned it up a bit, and now we can work on all these holes and clean them up.
When we come to do the edges, we'll run it through the machine over there. We can also do side edges with that machine. So, all the gear you need to get your boards serviced and up to date!
Rick does most of the work. He's been tuning boards and skis for over 30 years now, and we've had great feedback from customers. Some have even called the store from the snow saying, "Oh my God, my board's going faster than ever!" or "My skis—you guys did such a good job!"
So, if you want your gear looked after and hitting the slopes like new, come see us for some tuning!
