Get the Perfect Ski Boot Fit with Sidas Feetbox: Why Custom Fitting Matters
Share
Here we have a Sidas Feetbox feet scanning machine. This is what we use to start off all of our ski boot fittings. We'll just click new customer, male, and go.
The machine is going to scan your foot and give us insight into things like length, width, and arch height. So you can see I'm a US 10, I've got a mid arch, and a normal width foot. For a good custom fit, we'll also take a manual measurement, which is going to be over here.
Here, we're going to make sure that you're sitting at a 90-degree angle. I'll get your feet in here, measure you up, get your width again, your length, and your arch height, and then we can start trying on some boots. It's really important to get a boot custom fitted in-store because there are so many different types of feet and so many different types of boots.
You really need to try on a boot, potentially have it molded, and footbeds inserted for it to be a true fitting boot and for you to have the best experience on the snow.
